‘An Impossible Task’

‘Whilst the scheme wasn’t without its challenges, for Fortis Vision – Olympic Way will go down as one of our benchmark finishes, delivering what many had said to have been an impossible task, an exceptional one-off project.’ (Fortis Vision)

Only 200m from the legendary Wembley Stadium arches, Olympic Way student accommodation involved the design and new build of 8 studio flats with bespoke bathroom pods, kitchen and desk areas as well as 2 bespoke common areas totalling over 150sqm. This required over 400m of new M&E services to be installed in an occupied eighteen storey building – in time for the start of term. 

AJS designed and installed M&E works including power, LED lighting, fire alarms, heat recovery ventilation, and air conditioning (including external units/ grills/ plenum boxes.) 

The bespoke common areas, featuring cinema space, chillout and study sections.

AJS’s contribution was crucial to Fortis Vision being able to hand over to the client on time, covering all the building regulations and providing O&M manuals within 24 hours of delivery.
